History

Bo is the second largest city in Sierra Leone and the historic capital of the South — long known as a centre of education, commerce, and culture. From the founding of Bo School to the vibrant markets of today, Bo has always drawn talent from across the country and sent her sons and daughters across the world.

Bo City Global Connect (BCGC) was born from a simple idea: that the love the Bo diaspora carries for home is a resource — and that with the right platform, it can translate into real, transparent, measurable change on the ground.

Strategic Objectives

  • Connect and register the global Bo diaspora across every region
  • Mobilize funding for the Mayor's four strategic priorities
  • Attract investors and structure public-private partnerships
  • Coordinate volunteers and match skills to projects
  • Publish transparent quarterly and annual reports
  • Build durable international partnerships
